The legendary Williams pinball Terminator 2 ushered in a new era in pinball history. New control boards, large displays that allowed elaborate animations, stereo sound and much more provided again for a great innovation on the market. Licensed movie themes like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Addams Family, Twilight Zone or Terminator were implemented in pinball machines and dominated the scene from about 1990.
